Charming Beijing TV Series Helps International Students Catch Beauty of Beijing_fororder_留学生

On February 27, the Charming Beijing Overseas Communication Achievements Exhibition and the 2023 Launch Ceremony of Charming Beijing TV Series took place at the No. 10 exhibition hall of Shougang Park, Beijing. The event was sponsored by the Information Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and organized by CRI Online of China Media Group. Over 30 international students from Beijing Forestry University, Minzu University of China, Central University of Finance and Economics, and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine participated in the event. In their opinion, Charming Beijing TV series helped them have a deeper understanding of Beijing's high-quality development and high-level opening-up and also gave them chances to witness the most charming as well as the best aspects of Beijing.

Aye Pyone Thi Han, an international student from Myanmar, said that the TV series project was interesting and mind-blowing which would help strengthen the relationships between China and other countries and acquaint people around the globe with the culture and history of China. "The TV series has been available in my hometown Myanmar," said Aye Pyone Thi Han with excitement. "It allows me to experience the abundance of Chinese culture and know the love and respect Chinese people have for the world when I participate in the event," said Bishow Raj Pandit who comes from Nepal. According to Bishow Raj Pandit, the TV series would ultimately help lead to a more loving world and make our global community more thriving. Um E Habibah coming from Pakistan said the event provided professionals and experts with a valuable and delightful platform that offers useful information to carry out discussions on international civilization in Beijing.

International students gave a high appraisal of Beijing—the city where they stay. Adeeb Mohammed Abdullah Asham who is from Yemen praised, "Beijing is becoming the best capital for science, technology, culture, education, and life around the world." According to Muhammad Atif, an international student from Pakistan, it was stimulating to witness the process of Beijing being a vibrant metropolis. For Myanmar student Phyu Phyu Thinn, Beijing is a three-dimensional and inclusive city. It is not only China’s political, economic, and cultural center but also an ancient capital for thousands of years. "Although Beijing enjoys greater modernity, it still preserves its history well," said Phyu Phyu Thinn as she plans to visit more scenic areas and historic sites and learn more about the local delicacies and ancient architecture following Charming Beijing TV series.
