Upon entering the village, “Silk Road youths” were drawn in by the beautiful scene in front of them and didn't hesitate to take photos. As an important carrier of the service guarantee for the Universiade, the village will provide a safe and comfortable working and living environment for the participating delegations. At the same time, a series of academic and cultural exchange activities will be held in the village, which will serve as an important communication platform during the games.

It is understood that in order to build a green and low-carbon athletes' demonstration restaurant, Chengdu Universiade Village signed a contract to supply 72.8 percent of local vegetables in season. It also established a smart central kitchen, equipped with intelligent robots for stir-frying and coffee robots. Tai Shan from South Africa said, "I believe the restaurants here will bring great surprises to the participants at the Universiade."

During the activity, Silk Road youths were attracted by a new energy vehicle on the way. It is understood that during the Chengdu Universiade, except for special vehicles, other vehicles will achieve 100 percent new energy, and the proportion of green travel in the central city and each competition zone will reach about 70 percent. Rosine from Rwanda said, "I read online about the new energy vehicles in Chengdu Universiade. During the Universiade, many new energy vehicles will be shuttled around major venues, which are very low-carbon and environmentally friendly."
