Japanese media reports panda "Xiang Xiang" (TV Asahi)
Xiang Xiang was born in Tokyo, Japan, in June 2017 to two Chinese pandas, Bi Li (male) and Xian Nv (female). Since Xiang Xiang's parents are Chinese pandas, ownership of their cubs also belongs to China. Xiang Xiang was originally scheduled to be returned to China by the end of December 2020, but her return date has been postponed several times due to the COVID-19.
