Universiade World Media Conference held in Chengdu

Recently, the Universiade World Media Conference was held in Chengdu City of China’s Sichuan Province. As a warm-up event before the official opening of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, the Chengdu Universiade Executive Committee briefed the global media and people from all walks of life who are concerned about the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games on the progress of the preparations for the Games, as well as information on media operations.

In order to provide global college students with the opportunity to participate in the whole process of international event coverage and reporting practice, and promote mutual learning and cultural exchanges between domestic and foreign college students and young groups, "the Young Reporters Program for the Chengdu 2021 FISU Games" jointly organized by the International University Sports Federation, the International Sports Press Association and the Chengdu Universiade Executive Committee was officially launched at the conference. In July 2023, young college students from all over the world will gather in Chengdu for a grand event of youth and passion.

It is understood that the organizer of this event has prepared three intimate services for all participating media: a well-designed invitation card for registration of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games during the competition; a conference media package with elements of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games; a Universiade fan handmade by the citizens of the Chengdu community.

On July 28, the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, a youth covenant and cultural meeting, will be kicked off in “The Land of Abundance” (usually referring to Sichuan province), and media from all over the world will gather in Chengdu to spread the peace, friendship and hope of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games to the world.
