2023 East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum to Kick Off in West Coast New Area of Qingdao

On June 16, a press conference was held in Jinan in the run-up to 2023 East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum, which will be held in West Coast New Area of Qingdao from June 27 to 29.

Themed "Harmonious Coexistence in an Ocean Decade," the forum will vigorously seize the two major opportunities offered by the UN's global top-level marine sci-tech initiative of "Ocean Decade" and the launch of Ocean Decade International Cooperation Center in Qingdao, while focusing on "a healthy and resilient ocean," one of the seven key visions.

The forum will be hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the People's Government of Shandong Province, organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the People's Government of Qingdao City, and presented by the Management Committee of Qingdao's West Coast New Area. It will be held both online and offline, including the opening ceremony and the main forum, and nine sub-forums.
