On the afternoon of September 25, the 3rd "Beijing·A Global City" Short Video Contest hosted an offline themed filming event in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA). During the event, over 30 international students from 24 countries, including Morocco, Türkiye, and Mexico, paid a visit to BDA and had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the latest advancements in high-tech industries. Meanwhile, they explored the E-town New City impression exhibition hall and the Neolix unmanned delivery space and took a test ride on Robotaxi and intelligent and connected buses. All these immersive experiences allowed them to witness Beijing's global-style in future science and technology.

Upon entering the E-town New City impression exhibition hall at Boda Building, the international students were captivated by the immersive experience made possible by "5G+8K" high-new audio-visual technology, LEDCAVE space, and a digital virtual algorithm system. Through this state-of-the-art movie presentation, they gained a keener understanding of the dynamic and technologically advanced nature of this comprehensive new industrial city.

During their visit to the exhibition hall of Neolix's unmanned delivery space, the international students explored a diverse array of unmanned vehicles. They also observed unmanned delivery vehicles, unmanned retail vehicles, and unmanned vehicles for educational purposes. To their amazement, they discovered that these vehicles are already in use in 13 countries, such as Japan and Germany. In addition, the students were impressed to learn that these vehicles are actively serving over 100 different scenarios in 40 cities.

This 15-minute trip in the self-driving vehicle rendered them exhilarated. "It was fascinating!" exclaimed Violetta Sazhina from Russia. She had never seen something so electronized and felt like "China is living in another century."
