2023 China Shenyang Overseas Elites Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition Wraps Up

The 2023 China Shenyang Overseas Elites Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition came to a close recently with 12 domestic and 15 high-quality international project finalists reaching agreements of intent.

Since officially kicking off on May 17, 105 international science and technology projects entered the 2023 China Shenyang Overseas Elites Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition, with 122 projects also registering to participate from within China itself. Following preliminary and semi-final rounds, 35 outstanding projects were chosen to take part in the international category final, with 21 exceptional projects selected to vie for the domestic title.

Dr. Xuanhao Lin and his team from National University of Singapore have developed solid waste slag-free refining technology, engaging in in-depth discussions with the Shenyang Basic Industry Construction Development Group, Shenyang Aviation Industry Park, Xinji Environmental Protection Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Shenyang Zhengze Technology Group. These discussions have focused on chemical designs, practical applications, and opportunities for investment and financing, with the result that a preliminary cooperation intention has been established.

Since its inception in 2015, the China Shenyang Overseas Elites Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition has collected over 2,000 technology-driven innovation and entrepreneurship projects from at home and abroad, with nine years of development forging an exceptional event for scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship with a truly international reach.
