"Artificial Intelligence Empowers Industrial Development Forum" Held at WIC 2023

The "Artificial Intelligence Empowers Industrial Development Forum" was held on November 9 as part of the 2023 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province. Originally established to explore ways to empower innovation in AI, the forum fosters a deeper integration of AI with economic and social development, government involvement in the process, and the general advancement of technology in the service of society.

Leading AI experts and scholars, representatives of international organizations, and executives from top global enterprises were on hand to deliver keynote speeches and take part in roundtable discussions on "Empowering Industrial Development and Ethics" and "Governance in Artificial Intelligence". Also introduced at the forum was the Developing Responsible Generative Artificial Intelligence Research Report and Consensus Document, which calls for the creation of an environment more conducive to AI industry development. Finally, the forum also hosted an AI Public Welfare Story session.

The forum was hosted by the World Internet Conference Working Group on Artificial Intelligence in conjunction with Baidu, co-organized by Yinxiang Biji and CRI Online, and attended by more than 200 guests that included representatives from government departments, international organizations, leading global enterprises, academia, and the media.
