On April 8, the Sino-French Health Industry Forum of the World Health Expo was held in Wuhan, China. At the forum, 15 projects were signed with a total contract amount of 12.438 billion yuan, including 13 Chinese-funded projects and 2 French-funded projects. With a focus on Sino-French industrial cooperation, this forum discussed how to promote the experience, knowledge, technologies and products of elderly care through localization, to better meet market demand in the context of population aging in China. Under a theme centered on the new trend of digital and intelligent development, with the aim of boosting China's elderly care undertakings, this forum brought together Chinese and French government officials, entrepreneurs, scholars and researchers in the health field, pooling their efforts and wisdom to promote the innovative development of the Chinese and French health industries, as well as the win-win cooperation between them.
In recent years, Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City has been planning for the development of the life health industry, with the International Academic Exchange Center of Tongji Hospital completed and put into operation, the Tongji National Medical Center about to break ground, and investment promotion started for Health Industrial Park.
France has been a leader in healthcare services and products in Europe, with its market share and technology both on top. These French-funded projects will bring new experience to Hubei.
