Recently, with the completion and commissioning of the upgraded 110 kV Xieqiao No. 2 transformer, the enhancement for power supply efficiency in the central urban area of Sanmenxia has also come to a perfect conclusion. This effort has provided a vital boost to ensuring reliable power supply for the city's summer peak.

In response to operational risks in the downtown area's electrical grid, State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company has enhanced energy efficiency through optimizing operational procedures, developing specialized emergency plans for grid accidents, conducting thorough inspections and protections of critical lines and transformers. Additionally, tailored maintenance plans have been developed based on user needs, with detailed operational protocols and risk mitigation measures in place to ensure effective enhancement of energy efficiency. Each responsible department has collaborated closely to monitor and resolve issues promptly, and conduct comprehensive inspections throughout the entire process, thereby enhancing the quality and efficiency of maintenance.

This 40-day energy efficiency improvement project includes replacing a 50 MVA transformer and engaging 305 personnel in 8 significant technical renovation and overhaul tasks. This initiative has successfully met the rising demand for electricity in the central urban area, easing the transmission strain from aging equipment and significantly improving the residential electricity reliability.
