On July 9, in order to ensure the safe and stable operation of railway transportation in the Sanmenxia section, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company initiated a special campaign to inspect potential hazards in the power supply lines for 110 kV and 220 kV electric railway traction stations. By employing technological methods such as "drones + infrared," a comprehensive and efficient maintenance inspection was conducted on relevant lines.

At the maintenance site, staff conducted a three-dimensional and comprehensive inspection using drones, and examined the operational status of conductors and communication optical cables from multiple angles. Infrared devices were utilized to perform infrared thermography on the lines, with a focus on investigating potential hazards such as tree barriers, rusting of angle steel towers, wear and breakage corrosion of ground wire and its accessories, and the operation of pole and tower drainage lines, so as to effectively eliminate the potential safety risks.

Compared to traditional manual inspection methods, this combination model shows significant advantages. Drones can easily traverse complex terrains and obstacles, unrestrained by geographical environments, significantly enhancing the efficiency and coverage of inspections. Infrared detection accurately identifies heating points and abnormal temperatures in the lines with reliable data support for fault diagnosis.

State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company conducted a comprehensive inspection of five 110 kV and four 220 kV electric railway traction power supply lines, thereby successfully performing a three-dimensional inspection of some high-speed and electric railway power lines. This initiative has promptly identified and addressed numerous potential safety hazards, effectively ensuring the normal operation of the railways and the safety of the vast number of visitors.
