State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company Facilitates the Development of Distinctive Rural Economies

Recently, staff from the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited the Headwear Industrial Park in Wutou Village, Ziling Town, Qinyang City, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, China. They conducted safety hazard inspections on the power supply equipment of the industrial park and promoted knowledge on safe electricity usage. Their efforts were met with recognition and praise from the villagers.

In 2023, the Headwear Industrial Park in Wutou Village achieved a production volume of 28,000 tons of rubber band hair rope headdress, with an annual output value exceeding 1.2 billion yuan. Its production and sales accounted for 80% of the national market share, while its exports represented over 45% of the country's market share.

To further expedite the realization of agricultural modernization, rural urbanization and the professionalization of farmers, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company has implemented a series of measures from the early stages of constructing the Headwear Industrial Park. These measures include streamlining the green channel for electricity handling and simplifying internal business workflows. Consequently, a transformer with a capacity of 400 kVA was installed within the shortest time for the industrial park, which has promptly addressed the power needs, ensuring the high-quality electricity supply.

Moreover, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company has also created an innovative grid-based service model by establishing electric power service stations. Centered around the Headwear Industrial Park and extending to five surrounding administrative villages serving over 5,000 people, services have been continually optimized through on-site electricity handling, regular patrols and more. This includes enhancing business consultation, technical support and rapid repair services, which have effectively increased villagers' satisfaction with electricity usage, providing a reliable power guarantee for the development of local distinctive rural economies.
