China State Grid Guangrao Branch Promotes "Green Electricity" Development

Recently, in order to ensure the smooth travel for tourists visiting Guangrao County, Dongying, State Grid Guangrao County Power Supply Company (hereinafter referred to as “State Grid Guangrao Branch”) dispatched workers to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the charging pile equipment operation, operating system and electricity safety system, so as to effectively eliminate operating jams.

To satisfy tourists' charging demand of their mobile phones and electric vehicles at local tourist attractions, the "Sponge Smart Substation" was built and put into operation in Liuji Village, Guangrao County. As an integrated, intelligent and shared high-quality sponge substation that blends functions of lighting, electricity storage, and charging, it can be used easily upon plugging in and scanning the QR code.

In addition, the State Grid Guangrao Branch gives high priority to the development of solar photovoltaic industry, and is committed to providing high-quality services for various local key green production projects. At present, the annual power generation of all photovoltaic projects reached 850 million kWh in Guangrao, generating both significant economic and environmental benefits. In the meantime, the company is fortifying full-process management from new distributed renewable energy power generation projects to the grid and is pushing for more businesses to enter the photovoltaic power generation space.
