[Daka China 2024] Dialogue Across Time: Foreign Internet Celebrities Visit Bao Zheng Hometown Cultural Park

Foreign internet celebrities participating in the "Daka China 2024 – Modern Fashion with Ancient Charm in Anhui – Hefei Station!" Online International Communication Event visited Bao Zheng Hometown Cultural Park in Feidong County, Hefei Province on the afternoon of September 23. During their visit, the participants gained first-hand experience of the richness of traditional Chinese culture and the values of honesty and uprightness.

As the birthplace of Bao Zheng, commonly known as Bao Gong, Feidong County in Hefei Province places great importance on unfolding his story and preserving his cultural legacy. This commitment has led to the establishment of the Bao Zheng Hometown Cultural Park. Covering about 90 mu (six hectares) with a total construction area of around 8,750 sqm, the cultural park consists of five key parts: the Bao Zheng's Former Residence, Xiaosu Pavilion, Bao Zheng Academy, Lianyuan Garden, and Baolin Poetry and Inscription Exhibition Area. The cultural park stands as China's first interactive cultural tourism area dedicated to Bao Zheng, providing visitors with immersive and recreational scenario-based experiences.

As foreign internet celebrities entered the Bao Zheng Hometown Cultural Park, they were immediately attracted by a variety of culturally creative products featuring unique designs of Bao's image. According to the cultural park's guide, the cultural park's theme is "World-Renowned Bao Zheng – His Hometown Feidong". The park also highlights the values of honesty, uprightness, filial piety, legal ethics, and family traditions that are key to Bao Zheng Culture. Through exhibits showcasing both Bao Zheng's life and cultural heritage, the cultural park presents his qualities, including filial piety, wisdom, honesty, uprightness, and loyalty.
