Shenyang's Son-in-Law Gary: Stays for Shenyang's Warmth

　　"Coming to Shenyang is one of the most important decisions I've made in my life, and I'm so glad that it was a totally right decision." Recently, Gary Joy, a foreign teacher from Ireland, recalled his life in Shenyang, saying that he has both a successful career and a happy family here. "It is the warmth of Shenyang's people that encourages me to stay."

　　In October 2017, Gary came to Shenyang with his friends. "It's a city full of warmth with a balanced lifestyle and a comfortable environment." Gary said, "Everyone in Shenyang is willing to make friends with me. They are very friendly!"

　　When talking about his wife Mi Xue, Gary said happily: "She is another reason for me to stay in Shenyang, and also my biggest treasure here." In Gary's eyes, his wife is a true native of Shenyang, "She is as kind, warm and willing to share as all the locals."

　　In 2020, Gary joined U&I International Kindergarten as an English teacher. His students come from different countries and regions such as China, the UK, the US, Canada, Germany, and South Africa, with different cultural backgrounds and skin colors.

　　In Gary's view, Shenyang is an important logistics center and trade hub in Northeast Asia. "More and more people around the world are recognizing Shenyang and choosing to work, study, and live here. They also bring their families and children here." Gary said, "Shenyang has some international schools that can provide excellent international education. From the perspective of international education standards, Shenyang is increasingly able to keep pace with the world."
