In 2022, Nathan Childs was successfully hired by the Northeastern University to work as a foreign teacher at the Foreign Studies College. He said, "I hope that my class help students think independently and better understand English through reading, so as to build a bridge between Chinese and American cultures."

The university provides a broader platform for his personal development. "I'm working hard to broaden the academic path to improve my teaching ability and influence. In this regard, the university has given me a lot of support. They recommend me for lectures at other schools as a guest professor or invited tutor," he said.
