Opening of the 2025 Huaian Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Forum for Investment Promotion

On October 16, the 2025 Huaian Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Forum for Investment Promotion was launched. Shi Zhijun, Secretary of the CPC Huaian Municipal Committee, attended and delivered a speech, while Gu Kun, Mayor of Huaian, presided over the forum. Enterprise representatives including Liu Jingzhen from China Logistics Group and Dong Caiping from Zenith Steel Group gave their speeches, and representatives from enterprises such as Minth Group, Shagang Group, China Jushi, and Taihua New Materials also took part in the event.

In recent years, Huaian has focused on high-quality development, achieving steady economic growth, stronger urban vitality, and continuous improvement in governance performance. The city has made sustained breakthroughs in strengthening itself through industry, benefited from overlapping strategic opportunities, and earned strong trust from enterprises, thereby laying a solid foundation for its leapfrog development.

Entering the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Huaian will adhere to the path of new-type industrialization, advance the dual drive of project attraction and technological innovation, foster emerging industrial clusters, and help Jiangsu build an important hub for developing new-quality productive forces. It will deeply integrate into the Yangtze River Delta collaboration system, construct distinctive industrial, innovation, and supply chains, and develop into a transportation and economic hub in the northern part of the Yangtze River Delta. The city will practice the service philosophy of “delivering more through actions than words and offering services ahead of needs,” enhance the functions of consumption, education, and medical centers, and ensure that enterprises enjoy a fulfilling life and thriving business in Huaian.

The change from a “Negotiation Meeting” to a “Heart-to-Heart Forum” highlights Huaian’s sincerity: holding sincere exchanges to pursue high-quality development together with enterprises; working diligently to provide services, promote negotiations and signings, and sow the seeds of win-win cooperation; and extending a sincere invitation to join hands in building a better hometown.
