On May 21, staff from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company conducted facility inspections, including knife switches, at Shitou Village, Yunyang Town, Nanzhao County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. Meanwhile, they distributed electrical safety pamphlets to agritainment business owners, explaining basic electrical safety knowledge and key points for the daily maintenance of electrical equipment to enhance users’ awareness.
In May, Nanzhao County experienced a boom in the cultural tourism market. Focusing on supporting key cultural tourism projects, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company provided comprehensive quality services. It also streamlined power application processes, reduced cost and time, and ensured reliable power supply for local homestays, agritainment businesses, and scenic area ropeways.
The company assigned dedicated personnel to over 30 cultural-tourism health and wellness projects for coordination, optimizing the power grid structure, completing line transformation and upgrading, and guiding users to refine electricity usage plans. Additionally, it proactively delivered one-stop power services, including setting up special power service records for cultural tourism projects, opening green channels for applications, and conducting regular on-site visits to assess needs, gather feedback, and resolve issues.
Company staff utilized intelligent tools such as infrared thermoscopes and drones to inspect power equipment and lines in key scenic areas, promptly resolving faults. They also assisted homestays and agritainment businesses in inspecting electrical equipment such as air conditioners, lighting, and catering devices, while improving energy efficiency through smart meter data monitoring.
With the rise in rural tourism visitors, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has strengthened power support in tourist-concentrated areas. It deployed dedicated personnel for on-site duty and maintained 24-hour standby repair teams, delivering more efficient power services to the cultural and tourism industry.
