Jiyuan Enhances Measures to Support Fully Charged Electric Heavy-Duty Trucks on the Road

On July 1, the State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company organized personnel to inspect peripheral distribution lines and charging facilities in several logistics parks. Based on operational conditions, they carried out maintenance management, and considering summer weather features like high temperatures and rainfall, guided customers to strengthen daily maintenance of power distribution equipment to ensure reliable electricity supply.

As electric heavy-duty trucks become increasingly integral to the logistics sector, the demand for reliable charging infrastructure continues to grow. State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company is enhancing power supply stability to ensure all electric heavy-duty trucks are fully charged for operation.

Given the wide distribution and large number of electric heavy-duty truck charging projects, the company established a dedicated power supply service task force. This team ensures that the power supply plan, supporting project design, and grid connection methods are all completed in one streamlined process.

The company’s customer managers handle electricity service applications on-site and provide technical guidance, while supporting project managers work to expedite construction according to the design plan—completing the supporting infrastructure before the customer’s own power facilities are ready. Meanwhile, operation and maintenance personnel conduct hazard inspections and prepare for grid connection and energization. This coordinated approach ensures the orderly progress of all tasks and efficient power access for customers. Since the beginning of 2025, the company has successfully powered 33 heavy-duty truck charging station projects.

To improve the charging experience for electric heavy-duty trucks, the company follows a “one station, one support” model. Teams regularly inspect the condition of power facilities at charging stations and the operation of peripheral distribution lines. Any potential risks are promptly reported, with assistance provided to clients in developing and implementing corrective measures, ensuring safe and reliable power supply and supporting green mobility for fully charged electric heavy-duty trucks.
