Zhejiang: All Things Coexist — “State Grid Green Ark” Safeguards Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains

As the third National Ecology Day approaches, on the afternoon of August 12, State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company, leveraging the State Grid Corporation of China’s public welfare program “Green Ark,” joined hands with the Huangyan District Ecological Environment Bureau, Qingfeng Community of Beicheng Subdistrict, and other partners to host a themed series of activities entitled “All Things Coexist, Protecting Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains: the ‘Green Ark’ in Action for National Ecology Day” at Qingfeng Community Service Center. This event focused on outdoor workers and members of environmental volunteer associations, promoting care and support through green concepts and fostering a shared commitment to ecological protection through concrete actions.

According to State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company, the “Green Ark” program is rooted in the company’s mission to empower green development and ensure reliable power supply. Dedicated to supporting biodiversity conservation in China, the program targets key habitats of rare species, building green power supply systems in and around these areas to provide clean, reliable electricity as well as digital transformation tools for biodiversity research and conservation practices.

During the event, State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company showcased themed display boards and delivered presentations to highlight the company’s innovative practices and significant achievements in promoting the coordinated advancement of energy development and biodiversity protection. Speakers underscored the importance of biodiversity conservation in fostering harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, while also sharing knowledge on ecological protection, environmental stewardship, and safe and efficient electricity use. Centering on the theme of ecological protection and sustainable development, the event included an interactive session where participants shared their views and suggestions on biodiversity conservation and green practices, further forging and strengthening consensus on ecological civilization.

This National Ecological Day campaign, carried out under the “Green Ark” program, is a concrete step in fulfilling corporate social responsibility and advancing green development. The initiative has significantly raised biodiversity protection awareness among the target audience and fostered strong public engagement in ecological conservation.
