On October 14, to ensure reliable power supply during the autumn harvest and planting season, State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company proactively planned and took action. Through practical actions to ensure “uninterrupted power supply and continuous service,” the company provided strong electricity support for a successful grain harvest.

During the golden autumn season, crops such as corn and apples in Cizhong Township, Sanmenxia City, entered their harvest period, with farmers busy harvesting in the fields. To address the surge in electricity demand for agricultural machinery and irrigation, the company dispatched personnel to conduct comprehensive inspections of power equipment—including 10-kilovolt lines and distribution transformers—in advance.

Workers visited farmlands to check the wiring safety of equipment such as threshing machines, promptly replacing aging circuits and repairing loose switches. A total of 12 potential safety hazards were eliminated, ensuring the safe operation of agricultural power grid equipment. To meet farmers’ urgent nighttime power demands, State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company established an “Autumn Harvest Power Supply Green Channel,” and staff educated farmers on electricity usage standards for agricultural machinery and basic electrical safety knowledge, enhancing their awareness of safe electricity practices.
