In the early morning of October 20, the State Grid Huai’an Banzha Charging Station was already bustling with activity. With a total charging capacity of nearly 1,600 kilowatts, the high-power DC chargers installed at the station can recharge an office worker’s vehicle with enough power for a week’s commute in just 20 minutes.
Electric vehicle service staff from State Grid Huai’an Power Supply Company assist new energy vehicle owners with charging
In recent years, Huai’an City has been continuously optimizing the layout of charging infrastructure across both urban and rural areas while accelerating the installation of charging facilities in residential communities and public spaces. As the charging network becomes increasingly extensive, green travel is gradually becoming the choice of more and more citizens.
Today, within Huai’an’s urban area alone, 30 charging stations operated by State Grid Huai’an Power Supply Company provide a total capacity exceeding 10,000 kilowatts, capable of serving nearly 200 new energy vehicles simultaneously. New energy vehicle owners can find a public charging facility within a 10-minute drive, making the concept of a “10-Minute Charging Circle” a reality rather than a plan.
Meanwhile, State Grid Huai’an Power Supply Company is actively leveraging charging data to optimize the allocation of charging resources at various stations, and, in coordination with the time-of-use electricity pricing mechanism, is guiding users to charge during peak periods of photovoltaic power generation. These efforts are promoting the city’s transition toward a greener and more efficient energy system.
