At the conference, China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Limited announced its updated route and service plan for the new season. Beginning October 26, the company will officially implement its winter flight schedule. The highly anticipated direct flight from Nanjing to Paris will operate as a scheduled service during the winter season, providing a key passenger route directly connecting to Europe’s core aviation hubs.
In the new flight season, the number of international and regional routes operated by China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Limited has increased to 15, covering 13 destinations with 89 weekly flights. These account for about 60% of Nanjing Airport’s international and regional routes, marking a full recovery to the 2019 pre-pandemic level.

To make travel more convenient for international visitors, China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Limited has joined hands with the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Nanjing Tourism Group, and Nanjing Metro to launch the “Nanjing Inbound Tourism PASS Card.” This new initiative offers foreign tourists convenient “aviation + transportation + cultural tourism” benefits and discounts, enhancing their overall travel experience in Nanjing.
In addition, leveraging China Eastern’s digital passenger system and the electronic boarding pass service at Nanjing Lukou International Airport, the company has recently introduced a dedicated QR code for “advance seat selection without queuing.” This allows passengers in domestic check-in areas to scan the code for quick online check-in and seat selection, and proceed through security using an electronic boarding pass—thereby enhancing the overall travel experience.
