Sixth Express Delivery Industry Conference Held in Zhejiang Tonglu

On November 18, the sixth Express Delivery Industry Conference was held in Tonglu County, Zhejiang Province. The event was hosted by the China Express Association and co-organized by the People's Government of Tonglu County and the Zhejiang Express Industry Association.

At the conference, the Development and Research Center of the State Post Bureau released the Global Express Development Report (2025). The report shows that global parcel volume in 2024 reached approximately 267.9 billion, up by 17.49 percent year-on-year, while industry revenue grew by 14.05 percent to around CNY 4.6037 trillion. China alone processed 175.08 billion parcels, a year-on-year increase of 21.5 percent, with sector revenue rising by 13.8 percent to CNY 1.40335 trillion.

The 2025 Express Logistics Industry Matchmaking and New Technology Achievement Exhibition also opened the same day. Over 40 companies unveiled innovations across seven key areas - express logistics robots, unmanned operation equipment, ecosystem support products, digital technologies, new energy, green packaging materials, and financial services - covering every link of the express logistics industry chain.

Meanwhile, Tonglu also officially inaugurated the Tongda Future City during the conference - a "15-minute quality life circle" designed for workers in the express sector. Unlike traditional industrial parks, Tongda Future City represents a true integration of industry and urban living. Located in the county's core area and spanning 12 square kilometers, it features corporate headquarters alongside well-planned residential communities, supported by amenities such as Tonglu Intime City, East China Normal University Affiliated Bilingual Kindergarten, Tonglu Ye Qianyu Jianlan School, and the Hangzhou First People's Hospital Tonglu Campus, together creating a "15-minute quality life circle" that is desirable to live and work in.
