At Nanning International Railway Port, the journalists conducted interviews and sensed the vibrancy and vitality of this international logistics hub. Freight services transport goods from 25 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, covering more than 400 categories, while China–Vietnam trains have already achieved daily operations. At the construction site of the Youth Hub of the Pinglu Canal in Qinzhou City, machinery roared while over a thousand workers were laboring in full swing. The journalists captured the grandeur of this “project of the century” through their lenses.

At the Beihai Tieshan Port Public Terminal, the journalists witnessed giant vessels mooring, container cranes loading and unloading, containers piling up, and trucks shuttling back and forth—the blueprint for a modern international gateway port is becoming reality. At the Beilun River Second Bridge in Dongxing Port, trucks carrying electronics and other goods were driving toward Mong Cai in Vietnam, while fresh fruits and other products from ASEAN countries were continuing to flow into China, showcasing the bustling cross-border trade between the two countries.

In the Chongzuo Area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, local Party members and government officials addressed challenges through institutional innovation to stimulate economic vitality. By advancing the “Two Countries, Two Parks” model linking industrial parks in China and Vietnam, the area has developed two distinctive industrial chains. In the first half of 2025, the Chongzuo Area’s total foreign trade accounted for approximately 30% of Guangxi’s overall volume.
