32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair Opens

On July 9, 2026, the 32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair (CLZITF) officially opened in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province. Themed "New Opportunities for Pragmatic Cooperation, New Pattern of Open Development," this year's fair has attracted business representatives from over 30 countries and regions to explore and expand in-depth international cooperation across various sectors.

Over the past three decades, the CLZITF has evolved from a regional trade event into a national-level platform supporting the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and driving the high-level opening-up of western China. The scale of this year's event is grand: The main exhibition venue is the Gansu International Convention and Exhibition Center, covering an area of 54,000 square meters. It features five major themed exhibition zones: Silk Road International Cooperation, Regional Cooperation and Exchange, Characteristic and Competitive Industries, Fashion Consumer Goods and Quality Foreign Trade Products, and Authentic Gansu Specialties. More than 1,900 companies are participating, showcasing over 10,000 products across nearly 40 categories, ranging from equipment manufacturing, new energy, and new materials to AI, biopharmaceuticals, and specialty agricultural products.

On the international front, the fair has invited the Republic of Korea and Pakistan as co-guest countries of honor, further deepening economic and trade ties with Silk Road partner nations. The event will host 26 key activities, including international trade negotiations, industrial chain matchmaking, and smart investment promotion seminars. Furthermore, the fair focuses on emerging frontiers such as new energy, green computing, and specialty agriculture, preparing a reserve of over 1,000 high-quality projects to accelerate the implementation of industrial cooperation. This grand event not only showcases the modern face of Gansu's opening-up but also provides a vital platform for global partners to share development opportunities and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
