“Autumn in the Greater Khingan Range” Inner Mongolia Autumn Tourism Launch Ceremony Kicks Off in Erguna

On September 6, the launch ceremony for "Autumn in the Greater Khingan Range" Inner Mongolia Autumn Tourism kicked off in Erguna. The ceremony was hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and co-hosted by the Hulunbuir Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television and the People's Government of Erguna.

At 9:30 a.m. on the same day, the original stage play The Feast on the Right Bank of the Erguna River was staged, officially marking the start of the event. A brand promotional video was screened at the venue, while live video links connected three sub-venues in Arxan City of Hinggan League, Hexigten Banner of Chifeng City, and Genhe City, offering a panoramic view of Inner Mongolia's autumn scenery. As the launch button was pressed, the themed "Autumn in the Greater Khingan Range" train and the Mordaga Forest Mini-Train set off simultaneously. The two trains connected the splendid autumn scenery across the region, facilitating the sharing of cultural-tourism resources and greater tourist flows between destinations.

The event further deepened cultural-tourism integration, creating immersive autumn experiences. A rich lineup of ethnic song-and-dance performances, intangible cultural heritage creative-product exhibitions, and a local food market took center stage, showcasing local specialties including leba and kvass. Various interactive activities also drew enthusiastic participation from local residents and tourists, creating a lively atmosphere. As night fell, a lively bonfire party brought the event to a close on a high note, giving a boost to the local nighttime cultural-tourism economy.
