The One-year Countdown Gala to the 7th CISM World Games is held in Jiangtan, Hankou, the city of Wuhan.

CRI Online in Hubei - Jiangtan Hankou,with splendid and colorful lights, shows the picturesque sceneries along the Yangtze River in the night. The 7th CISM Military World Games celebrates its one-year countdown gala in Wuhan, Hubei on the evening of October 18,2018. The LED countdown is started by Jiang Chaoliang, secretary of Hubei Provincial Party Committee, Colonel Hervé Piccirillo, the CISM president, Wang Xiaodong, deputy secretary of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and governor of Hubei province, Li Yingchuan, deputy director of General Administration of Sport of China, Yang Jian, deputy director of the CMC Training and Administration Department and Ma Guoqiang, deputy secretary of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and secretary of Wuhan Municipal Party Committee. With bright red backdrop and sunflowers beside auditorium, Jiangtan, Hankou is decorated as an unique and enthusiastic city. The gala is divided into four chapters, starting with the overture of The Aspiration of Peace. Songs and dances, featuring with military style and Hubei local characteristics, are displayed by actors from militaries and Wuhan city.

The gala, where water from the Yangtze River, Amazon, Nile, Danube and other mother rivers is poured into a container symbolizing the Earth by the delegations of military from China, Brazil, Hungary and Tanzania.

All audience on the spot burst into thundering applause as the LED countdown is started. 

Mr. Zhou Xianwang, governor of Wuhan and Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita, secretary general of the CISM extend their cordial invitation to the world for Welcome to The 7th CISM Military World Games in Wuhan in 2019.

Wang Lin, Ma Tao, Chen Anli and Zhang Boqing, the officials of Hubei province and Bie Bixiong, secretary general of Hubei provincial government, along with over 3000 delegations consist of 24 squads, enjoy the performances together.
