The Seventh Colourful World - Cultural Exhibition of Countries along the Belt and Road, hosted by the Information Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and organized by CRI Online of China Media Group and Beijing Performing & Arts Group, wrapped up on September 5. During the 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS 2022), the Seventh Colourful World event was widely appreciated by embassies, international organizations and visitors participated, and attracted widespread attention of media and netizens.

During the event, Syrian Ambassador to China Mhd. Hasanein Khaddam, Malaysian Ambassador to China H. E. Raja Dato' Nushirwan Zainal Abidin, Venezuelan Ambassador to China Giuseppe Yoffreda, Minister of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to China Sidi Mohammed El Bakkari and Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe to China Grasiano Nyaguse attended the exhibition and showed their support to the event.
A total of 30 embassies and international organizations in China participated in the exhibition event. Meanwhile, the event organized 18 cultural and artistic performances, issued 1,600 Colourful World Passports and held five sessions of live streaming, focusing on international product selections from different countries and regions. More than 50 media outlets reported the event, with China News Service, China Education Television, www.btime.com and other media putting forward shot videos about exploring the exhibition. Many guidelines and on-site experiences of the exhibition can be posted on Xiaohongshu and other social media platforms, reflecting a good publicity result. The Seventh Colourful World - Cultural Exhibition of Countries along the Belt and Road was quite popular during the CIFTIS 2022.

The Seventh Colourful World - Cultural Exhibition of Countries along the Belt and Road has served as a bridge for people-to-people exchanges among countries along the Belt and Road and established a platform for harmonious development that leads to shared prosperity. It's expected that more embassies and international organizations will be involved in the Colourful World event next year, with more audience participation.
