Jiangba Ancient Town is located in Hongze District of Huai'an City, east China's Jiangsu Province, sitting at the southern end of the Hongze Lake Embankment. It boasts beautiful natural scenery with waters and rivers surrounded and crisscrossed.

With a history of over 1,800 years, Jiangba Ancient Town was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty and achieved rapid development in the Ming and Qing Dynasty. For people residing here from generations to generations, water is not only part of their daily life, but also served as their livelihood.
Taking the advantage of its location, Jiangba enjoys rich resources offered by both Hongze Lake and the Grand Canal. This beautiful town with a temperate climate and fresh air is home to a variety of traditional delicacies and many old streets with local characteristics.

In recent years, Jiangba Ancient Town has been vigorously developing the food culture featuring products from the lake. It has held events featuring river snail and crab to promote local delicacies which attracted a great number of tourists. With the help these activities and events, it is believed that the local tourism would develop rapidly.
