Clean Power Makes Lushan Mountain More Magnificent

Situated in Jiangxi province, Lushan Mountain is famous for its magnificence, wondrousness, precipitousness, and beauty, having the reputation of “Lushan Mountain’s landscape is peerless in the world”. According to incomplete statistics, in the first quarter of this year, the number of tourists visiting Lushan Mountain reached 3,566,100, having a  87.73 percent year-on-year increase .

In 2005, Lushan Mountain took the lead to build a “smokeless mountain” in China. To accelerate the development pace of green economic in Lushan, the State Grid Jiujiang Lushan Power Supply Company drew up a plan for development with “Smart Green Power”, comprehensively promoting the clean energy supply for homestay kitchen, geothermal heating, and domestic hot water and other parts of terminal energy consumption in Lushan city.

In the first quarter of this year, the energy consumption of Lushan Mountain reported a net increase of 1.55 million kWh year-on-year, equivalent to reducing the burning of standard coal of about 190.5 tons or a reduction in carbon dioxide of about 900.6 tons, which has polished the golden calling card of “smokeless mountain” of Lushan Mountain.
