[2023 Daka China] Foreign Internet Influencers Visit Beautiful Countryside

From May 8 to 9, a group of foreign internet influencers from various countries including Brazil, Egypt, Guatemala, Mexico, and Romania, made their way to Shangqiu, a city located in the Henan Province of China. They aimed to uncover the new looks of the countryside, explore new forms of business for local industries, and immerse themselves in the charm of China's modernization in agricultural and rural areas.

Foreign internet influencers and multilingual hosts paid a visit to the Longgangwan Rural Complex in Taiping Town, Xiayi County, Shangqiu. During their tour, they observed the cultivation technique employed in the complex's greenhouses, where strawberries were grown using vertical hanging planters. They also had the opportunity to participate in a tofu-grinding activity with students who came for their research and study trip. Abdelaziz Ahmed Abdelaziz Mahmoud Sallam, an internet influencer from Egypt, thought that a tour related to smart agriculture helped young students have a better understanding of the process of cultivating fruits and vegetables, as well as how these agricultural products go from farm to fork.

Wanggongzhuang Village, located in Minquan County of Henan Province, is renowned for its tiger-themed paintings. In this village, residents keep a balance between their agricultural work and hobbies, such as painting during their spare time, bringing joy and fulfillment to their daily lives. Ana-Maria Crivat, an internet influencer from Romania remarked, "The big countryside holds great potential."

At Shizhuang Culture and Art Village in Yongcheng City, the idyllic scenery and traditional techniques in the village amazed foreign internet influencers. They thought the village was exquisite and relaxing. "People make contributions to the beauty of the countryside," said Viacheslav Shchekin, an internet influencer from Russia. He experienced the hospitality and hardworking spirit of the Chinese people here.
