Sino-French Music Festival Held in Caidian, Wuhan

Recently, the opening ceremony of the 16th Wuhan Fête de la Musique and Sino-French Music Festival 2023 were held in Caidian District, Wuhan. Music bands from China and France praised the transnational friendship in the new era with music. At the site of music festival, sonorous voices, youthful artists, strong rhythms and beautiful melodies made the audience excited.

The "Fête de la Musique" was initiated by the French Ministry of Culture in 1982, aiming to activate the entire French music scene by allowing audiences to participate in various types of concerts. In China, "Fête de la Musique" was held within the framework of the "Festival Croisements". Since it launched at Wuhan in 2007, "Fête de la Musique" event has gradually expanded to many cities in China and has become one of the most popular music celebrations among Chinese people.

The Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City has held more than 60 events since it settled in Caidian District of Wuhan on March 26, 2014, such as Franco-Chinese Year of the Environment, Franco-Chinese Month of the Environment, the Sino-French Music Festival, and Sino-French Youth Self-Building Festival, Sino-French Fashion and Cultural Exchange Ceremony, tree planting activities of Hubei Friendship Woods of Foreign Experts, Tour of China International Road Cycling Race, National Open Water Swimming Championships, Wuhan Half Marathon, Dragon Boat racing Challenge, etc.
