SGCC Hubei ICT Company Completes Core Optical Cable Relocation to Support Key Projects in Wuhan

Recently, to accommodate the construction of Tuanjie Avenue Station on Wuhan Metro Line 12, SGCC Hubei ICT Company successfully completed two critical optical cable relocation projects. These efforts cleared the way for a major urban engineering project while ensuring the uninterrupted operation of cross-regional communication networks, contributing to the city's development with professional and efficient communication support.

The two relocated optical cables, Zongtan 1# (96-core) and Chegang 1# (48-core), serve as key communication arteries connecting the Jiangnan and Jiangbei areas, as well as the new and old buildings of the provincial company. They function as a vital hub for the city's operational dispatch and command. The ICT company worked in close coordination with the metro construction team throughout the entire process—from preliminary planning to on-site implementation—achieving a win-win outcome for both urban development and communication support.

Aiming for "zero errors and zero interruptions," the ICT company carried out comprehensive and meticulous preparations. On the day of the operation, personnel strictly followed procedures, with department heads directing operations on-site and coordinating in real time with the communication dispatch center. After intensive yet orderly work, the relocated optical cables demonstrated stable transmission performance, with all indicators meeting required standards. All related services were fully restored, with no impact on the city's core functions.
