Once upon a time, Xingshansixi Street was an ordinary street characterized by humble and modest houses, old buildings, and the nostalgic Xiaozhai Farmer's Market, evoking memories of the past for many.

In September 2018, the transformative "Xingshan Yaji" project commenced on Xingshansixi Street. Subsequently, a series of large thematic activities took place. The pioneering night economy pedestrian street in Yanta District — Xingshansixi Pedestrian Street was established. With the implementation of a range of measures, the once dormant street was rejuvenated and brought back to life.

Nowadays, on Xingshansixi Street, you can find a blend of ancient temples, traditional bookstalls, trendy night marketplaces, and elegant art museums. Everywhere you turn, there is a harmonious collision between history and contemporary trends, as well as tradition and modernity.
