On the morning of October 29, the first half-marathon in Zhejiang Province after the Hangzhou Asian Games - The GOLD OF HEALTH ·Tonglu Half Marathon 2023 kicked off as scheduled.
Asian Games champion YU Shimeng, Asian Para Games champion JIANG Shengnan, Paralympic Games champion SONG Maoyuan and others attended the starting ceremony and fired the gun for the competition.
This event has been certified by China Athletics Association. With the theme of "Running into Fuchun Mountain Residence and Enjoying the Chic Tonglu", it integrates Tonglu's culture, tourism and sports. Through a track featuring culture, content and scenery, the event aims to showcase runners Tonglu's favorable humanistic and geographical environment, urban culture, and spiritual life, presenting a golden business card of Tonglu as a place of urban sports.

Due to the super good look of the city, its comfortable tracks, and the perfect preparations, Tonglu Half Marathon has become the first choice for runners to challenge themselves for breakthroughs every year. The competition this year has again seen "a gathering of experts". Among them, there are 18 male runners whose past half marathon records are within 1 hour and 10 minutes, 12 female runners within 1 hour and 20 minutes, and up to 1,100 runners within 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Tonglu is a city of culture as well as a city of sports. At the just-concluded Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games, five athletes from Tonglu won a total of 6 gold medals and 2 silver medals, breaking two Asian records.
