Bo'ai, Henan: Establishing the Rail-Sea Intermodal Transportation

On the morning of November 29th, in Yubei Inland Port set by Shandong Port Group (SPG) located in Bo'ai County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, a train carrying Henan Longbai Group’s 20 containers of 400 tons of titanium dioxide slowly departed, leaving a long train whistle. The train is destined to reach a port in Shandong by rail before being exported to countries such as Turkey through maritime transport.

The inauguration ceremony of SPG Yubei Inland Port took place in Bo'ai County on the same day. This inland city, nestled under the Taihang Mountains in northwest Henan Province, has effectively brought the "gateway to the sea" to its doorstep. Bo'ai County, and indeed the entire city of Jiaozuo, has officially entered the era of "road-rail-sea" intermodal transportation.
