North Weijiamao Coal Power Co., Ltd. implements the concept of green development. By using more than 100 hectares of land in the open-pit coal mine reclamation area to build photovoltaic power stations, energy storage facilities, substations and supporting lines, open-pit electric coal mining trucks and a power station. The company explores "one land for multiple uses" and "one land for multiple yields" without changing the nature of the land. Activities involving agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and breeding are carried out in plastic greenhouses, between plastic greenhouses and under photovoltaic panels; photovoltaic power is generated on roofs of plastic greenhouses to achieve greening of mines, so as to achieve coordinated development of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality as well as carbon emission reduction, photovoltaic power generation, and agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry.

As early as in 2019, Zhunge'erzhao Town and Zhunge'erzhao Village began to trial the "coal-to-electricity" clean heating campaign. The Banner's first zero-carbon rural demonstration project has been launched in Zhunge'erzhao Village, replacing scattered coal burning, optimizing the rural living environment, improving air quality, promoting the green transformation of rural production and lifestyle, and achieving the integrated development of both renewable energy and rural revitalization. Through the development pattern of "photovoltaic power generation and rural tourism", Jungar Banner can achieve clean, zero-carbon and green development in rural areas while driving all-round rural development and increasing farmers' income.
