On May 2, the Fuchun Mangu Mountain Life Season was held in Maoping Village, Fuchunjiang Town, Tonglu, Hangzhou, where visitors had the chance to delve into intangible cultural heritage projects, ancient-style gardens, and experience traditional Hanfu clothing and makeup.

The exciting event "Wen'an Literati Gathering" was also held at the front square of Wen'an Building. Various cultural and creative stalls showcased unique items such as wooden and stone ornaments, hand-woven flowers, and weaving crafts. A variety of intangible cultural heritage foods were particularly enticing, including handmade Maci (sticky rice cakes), Mishaipa (a dish featuring dough balls garnished with shredded taro, potato, dried bamboo shoots, pickles, radish and ribs), and Huitang Zongzi (glutinous rice dumplings soaked in boiled straw ash water). Additionally, the "Special Village Market for Common Prosperity" brought together local seasonal products from Maoping Village, such as black tea, dried bamboo shoots, and honey, allowing visitors to take home Tonglu's rustic flavors while having fun.

At the event, the "Twelve Flower Deities" project was inaugurated. Visitors dressed in traditional Chinese attire could freely roam around Maoping Ancient Village, taking photos and participating in the flower deity selection. Additionally, a hand-drawing of the "Twelve Flower Deities" by Chinese painting master Shi Jing was simultaneously displayed at Dongshan Academy, adding to the cultural and artistic allure and showcasing the beauty of the countryside.

Since this year, Fuchunjiang Town in Tonglu has vigorously developed its distinctive tourism industry by combining various business formats such as intangible cultural craftsmanship, sightseeing tours, cultural and creative experiences, leisure and wellness, and F&B and B&B. It aims to explore a new pattern integrating agriculture, culture and tourism to attract a wider consumer base, receive more tourists, and continuously enhance the tourism industry and development level.
