“November marks the ripening and harvesting season for carrots. Nowadays, the entire procedure of carrot processing has been electrified. With the considerate and thorough service from the power supply company, the cooperative is operating at full capacity without any concerns,” said Liu Baojun, the person in charge of the Baojun Vegetable Planting Cooperative in Zhangwang Middle Village, Huanghe Sub-district, WenXian County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, to the visiting service staff from the Zhangzhuang Power Supply Station under the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company.

In 2024, Baojun Vegetable Planting Cooperative has 1,800 mu (297 acres) dedicated to carrot cultivation, with a monthly yield exceeding 3,600 tons. To ensure uninterrupted electricity supply for the cooperative during its production period, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company meticulously planned in advance. Personnel were organized to conduct comprehensive electrical safety inspections on workshop equipment before production. They increased the frequency of patrols and temperature checks on involved transformer district lines and performed load calculations for the cooperative’s two newly added cold storage facilities, ensuring sufficient electrical capacity. Since the production commenced, the staff have made multiple visits to promote safe electrical practices, provide scientific guidance on electricity use, and encourage users to use electricity during off-peak periods. Additionally, leveraging the convenience service centers, they promptly addressed all electricity-related demands throughout the cooperative’s entire production process.
In the future, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company will continue to focus on the electricity service demands of the people, advance convenient measures for power supply services, and establish a safe, reliable, intelligent, and green electric grid. This initiative aims to provide a reliable and stable supply of vegetables to the populace in winter.
