As the Chinese New Year approaches, the festive spirit intensifies. Recently, the "Golden Snake Brings Good Fortune" Tonglehui Lifestyle Market kicked off its Spring Festival edition at the Central Square in Tonglu County, Hangzhou.
It is reported that the market will run for 17 days in two phases, offering residents a joyous experience. The first phase is from January 23 to 26, and the second from January 31 to February 12, with various activities and shopping delights available daily from 14:00 to 20:00.
The market features 72 stalls across four themed areas: artistic and cultural creations, light bites and snacks, specialty foods, and intangible cultural heritage experiences. This setup allows visitors to immerse themselves in the Spring Festival ambiance, showcasing Tonglu's rich history, culture, and the charm of its intangible cultural heritage.
Additionally, on the evening of January 22, the "Galaxy Dreams, Unique Tonglu" 2025 Spring Festival Lantern Show was held as scheduled. As night falls and the lights come on, dazzling lanterns illuminate the Central Square, allowing citizens and tourists to immerse themselves in traditional Chinese New Year celebrations while experiencing Tonglu's new sights and developments.
The lantern show will run until the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, with lights on from 17:00 to 20:30 each evening for a total of 22 days. The designs beautifully blend Tonglu's mountains, rivers, and scenic spots.
From the third to the eighth day of the first lunar month, daily from 14:00 to 20:00, the Central Square will also present a vibrant feast of intangible cultural heritage. Tourists can not only enjoy immersive folk performances but also personally experience the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage, feeling the vitality of traditional culture through interaction.
