The 15th Yuzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Expo commenced in Yuzhou City, Xuchang, Henan Province on September 20. Throughout the event, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company deployed on-site teams to deliver reliable power supply for this pharmaceutical summit.
Yuzhou City, home to a national-level TCM specialty market and Henan's herbal processing hub, was supported by comprehensive power protection measures. State Grid Xuchang implemented its power security plan with precision, ensuring safe and stable grid operation during the expo.
Upon receiving the power security mandate, the company promptly established a leadership task force and formulated a power security plan. Maintenance crews conducted meticulous inspections of substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks serving the expo venues using drone patrols, infrared thermography, and ultrasonic partial discharge detection. These efforts focused on identifying equipment vulnerabilities, structural defects, and external risks. Proactive coordination with event organizers enabled customized power solutions. Critical venues and guest hotels were reinforced with a dual power supply system, while a 500 kW mobile emergency generator remained on standby.
Through systematic execution, State Grid Xuchang successfully fulfilled its power supply mission, bolstering the local herbal industry’s expansion into broader markets.
