Shibing, Guizhou Enters Peak Spring Flower Viewing Season

Recently, Shibing County in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, has entered its peak spring flower viewing season. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the Baishajing area of the Shanmu River Scenic Area, while the rose maze at the Huayang Riverside Ecological Manor in Ganxi Township is also approaching its peak bloom. These two major flower-viewing spots have drawn crowds of visitors to take photos and experience the vitality of spring.

At the Huayang Riverside Ecological Manor, a giant rose maze covering eight mu (about 0.53 hectares) is approaching its annual peak bloom. Zhang Anqi, the person in charge of the manor, introduced that the maze is planted with more than 20 varieties of roses, Chinese roses, and climbing roses, including Angela, Eden Rose, and Parade. They are expected to be in full bloom by April 25.

The manor also features a stone garden, which uses local stones to pave paths to showcase Guizhou's local characteristics. Based on the terrain and sunlight conditions, the garden is filled with colorful flowers, such as Carthusian pinks and hydrangeas. The rose maze features a fun route design, adding enjoyment for visitors to "view the floral scenery and walk the floral paths." Children can also participate in a challenge game linked by rose care knowledge.

The park also features a petting zoo, a log playground, a camping base, and a dining area. It provides diverse services such as a self-service barbecue, meeting visitors' needs for a one-stop "flower viewing and leisure" experience. (By Chen Jia)
