The 2026 National "Four Seasons Village Evening" Spring Main Event Opens in Shizhu, Chongqing

On April 16, the 2026 National "Four Seasons Village Evening" Spring Main Event, themed "The Sun Comes Out Bright and Joyful," was held in Changsha Village, Qiaotou Town, Shizhu County, Chongqing.

At the event site, a variety of performances were staged, including the Tujia Huayang drum performance "A Youth with a Loyal Heart," the folk song "The Sun Comes Out Bright and Joyful," a rural interactive runway show "Tiankan Village Paths," a mountain song medley "Gardenia Flowers Bloom," and a square dance "Muye Love Song." Local people transformed into singers, models, and dancers, bringing scenes of field labor and farming tools onto the stage, turning the "Village Evening" into a stage for their own artistic expression.

A Tujia folk culture experience zone was also set up at the venue, showcasing traditional customs such as throwing horse-gong performances, Luo'er tunes, bull-related folk activities, Xilan Kapu weaving, and Tujia rice tea through a combination of live demonstrations and static displays. At the "Rural Goods" market, a wide array of high-quality agricultural and cultural products attracted numerous tourists and villagers. Visitors enjoyed the "Village Evening," explored the rural fair, and browsed the market, experiencing the vibrant charm of the Bayu countryside.
