At daybreak, distribution service managers head to residential areas across the city and conduct inspections of power facilities building by building and household by household. To avoid disturbing residents during the early hours, inspectors carefully record customer electricity account numbers, mark the locations of identified equipment defects, provide simple self-check guidance and safety advice, and leave reminder notes at residents’ doorsteps together with the company’s 24-hour emergency repair hotline. The approach enables hidden hazards to be identified, addressed and eliminated at the earliest possible stage.

The off-peak inspection schedule effectively reduces the risks associated with high-temperature outdoor operations, while the thoughtful reminder notes balance efficient power maintenance with residents’ daily routines. The initiative not only enhances grid inspection effectiveness but also improves the customer experience, helping safeguard safe and reliable electricity use during the summer.
