The cultural and sports gala "Colorful Guizhou, Striving Qiannan" made a stunning debut, following the cycle of the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—and deeply integrating the natural imagery of mountains, water, forests, fields, and lakes with Guizhou's "Village" cultural, tourism, and sports IPs. Through changes in lighting and color rendering, the four major chapters successively showcased the beauty of Guizhou's landscapes, ethnic cultures, sports, and development on stage.

This edition of the Provincial Games is divided into two categories: competitive sports and mass sports, featuring a total of 57 major events and 826 minor events, with nearly 10,000 participants, setting a record for the largest scale in the history of the Provincial Games. Among them, the competitive sports category brings together outstanding athletes from across Guizhou, with diving and volleyball newly added. Additionally, a Group C (younger age group) has been specifically established for traditional competitive sports in Guizhou, such as gymnastics and mountain biking, to strengthen the talent base for youth competitive sports and cultivate more "future stars" for Guizhou's sports development.

The events include dragon boat racing, single-bamboo drifting, roller skating, and skateboarding, fully meeting the fitness and competition needs of people of different ages and preferences.
