Shanggao County in Jiangxi Province is a land of rolling hills dotted with ponds, where green mountains meet clear waters, creating an ideal foundation for green development. In the townships of Luzhou and Hantang, continuous arrays of photovoltaic panels stretch across water surfaces and hillsides, forming a distinctive rural landscape. The area's solar installations generate more than 113 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 90,000 tonnes each year and supporting the region's green, low-carbon transition. At the same time, the locality has adopted a multi-level integrated farming model: above the fish ponds, solar panels generate electricity from sunlight; beneath the clear waters, fish grow freely; and on the hilly slopes, photovoltaic facilities are installed, with shade-loving medicinal plants such as Gangmei (Ilex asprella) and Shichangpu (Acorus tatarinowii) cultivated beneath the panels. This maximizes the use of water, soil, and hillside resources, truly achieving dual use of the same land.

To ensure the smooth implementation of green projects such as fishery-solar and agriculture-solar complementary systems, State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power has continuously strengthened the capacity of rural power grids, built supporting power transmission projects, and provided full-process technical services, ensuring the local consumption of clean electricity.
