Jiyuan, Henan: Ample Power Boosts High-Quality Enterprise Development

On September 1, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company sent staff to the Sili Town Circular Economy Industrial Park. They visited six enterprises engaged in precious-metal deep processing, precision component manufacturing, and waste storage-battery recycling. The team learned about their electricity consumption for production and operations, inspected power supply equipment, and provided services to ensure safe electricity use.

Industrial electricity consumption accounts for nearly 90 percent of Jiyuan's total electricity consumption across all sectors. In 2026, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company rolled out targeted measures to improve service efficiency. Based on the distribution of enterprises and the areas where they are located, the company set up nine visiting service teams to take the initiative to learn about enterprises' production and operations and electricity needs, and helped customers inspect high- and low-voltage lines, transformers, power distribution rooms, and other related facilities and electrical equipment.

For matters such as equipment capacity expansion, user information changes, and power-supply applications for new production capacity, the company opened green channels in accordance with the principles of rapid response, on-site service, and ensuring that applications are handled properly. This helps enterprises obtain electricity quickly and make good use of it. For safety hazards found during inspections, the company provided on-site guidance and helped customers formulate rectification measures.

In view of the fact that some enterprises lack sufficient technical, equipment, and personnel resources for equipment upgrading and hazard mitigation, the company arranged staff to provide on-site services according to the level of urgency and importance, offering professional guidance and technical support.

Over the past two months, the company has visited 355 enterprises, resolved 102 power-related issues, provided 119 technical service sessions, and helped address 77 safety hazards.

In addition, the company has helped enterprises optimize their internal electricity-use plans, provided professional guidance on safe electricity use, and actively promoted preferential electricity policies for enterprises and service procedures.
