The last batch of horses for 7th CISM Military World Games Arrives in Wuhan

In the evening of October 13th, 2019, the last 20 horses needed for the 7th CISM Military World Games arrived in Wuhan. Until then, 74 horses for Equestrian Competition in the games and 40 horses for Modern Pentathlon Competition were completely in place.

Equestrian Competition of the games will be hosted in Wuhan Business University from October 19th to 21st, gathering 56 athletes and 27 officials from 21 countries, including Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain and others. Modern Pentathlon Competition will be started from October 22nd to 26th, attracting 101 athletes and 53 officials from 20 countries such as Germany, Austria, Belarus and so on to participate in.

So far, Wuhan Business University has finished their last improvement and testing works of the venue. Staff and volunteers have entered the competition venue at their standby state. In the venue, medical rooms and hospital for horses has been completed installed.

In order to ensuring smooth process of the testing competition, Wuhan Business University set up a professional horse hospital, which is the first one for horse examination and treatment by China’s college and is also the first one who gets animal examination and treatment qualification. The horse hospital, covering an area of about 600 square meters, equips with full functions, including clinical reception, examination, testing, treatment, recovery and so on.
