Andy comes from a small town in Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city. He came to Chengdu 13 years ago. In Chengdu, he managed to find his interests, his soul mate and started a family with a local girl. “I love how my life is now,” he said, “ I am very satisfied.”

“Comfy”, “cosy” and “worldly” are the first impessions Chengdu has left for Andy. He enjoys cycling on the streets, having barbecues with friends at night. In Andy’s perspective, people in Chengdu value life more than money.

Andy wants to impart the passion of football to the children in China, so he set up a football school here with two other foreign friends in 2014. It has attracted more than 2000 students so far. Meanwhile, he organized a “mini World Cup” for foreigners in Chengdu, with more and more people joining it .
In the past 13 years, Andy has witnessed great changes taken place in Chengdu. More and more foreign restaurants are set up, the transportation becomes more convenient, Chengdu is heading towards an international city. “I believe Chengdu will have a better future.” Andy said.
